# Transition to the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards (Méderi, 2025)

In 2025 Luis Edgar Parra Salas led the transition of Méderi's internal audit system to the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, modernising the internal audit function of a high-complexity hospital network in Bogotá and aligning it with the new international standard for the profession.
